Local community groups and charities in Northern Queensland now have the opportunity to apply for cash grants via Aurizon’s Community Giving Fund.

Member for Hinchinbrook Andrew Cripps has encouraged local groups with a focus on providing projects of community benefit to apply.

“Grants of up to $20 000 are available to assist with community projects aimed at delivering positive outcomes in the areas of Health and Wellbeing, Community Safety, Environment and Education,” Mr Cripps said.

“I encourage community groups looking to deliver identified projects to apply.”
